Babboe is assembled in China! It is designed in Holland, but the quality does not meet bakfiets.nl. bakfiets.nl is made completly in Holland at azor-fietsen. It absolute better quality, espeaccally the Azor powder coated frame will last longer and is dtronger then the babboe version (wich is a copy of bakfiets.nl. as you can see easily!). the bak from bakfiets is lasting longer because it is made from so called "beton multiplex". If there are new, there is not such a big difference, you will see after some years of use, the bakfiets.nl is definitly the better choice fpr dayli use and for keeping it outside eveb in the dutch winters and near the sea in holland, it simply survive. it is made in the trtadition of dutch bikes, there are known to be the strongest you can get. Azor was doing the frames for gazelle and sparta (now there are all producing the frames in asia!

I got one two years ago, one of the pre-production prototypes.

I got it from http://www.power-to-the-pedal.co.uk.

Carried my 2 kids, shopping, backpack etc, without complaint. Beautifully engineered, light, fast.

Stolen this morning. I'm pretty cross.

I have been trying to buy one of these for about a year now but the guy just won't get back to me. It is the ideal solution to my apartment living (small lift) and NZs silly helmet law that only applies to bicycles, tricycles are exempt for some reason. If anyone has any ideas about how to get hold of one, please leave a comment here http://aucklandcyclechic.blogspot.com/2010/06/tricycles-and-cargo-bikes.html
